LONGVIEW - The Henderson Lions defeated the Longview Lobos, 22-18, here Friday night.
Longview scored two first quarter touchdowns, both by halfback Moreland Rook. Rook skirted right end for 33 yards and later crashed over from the four.
Henderson caught up on a 12-yard scoring pass from Kenny Walton to Terry Ruston and a one-yard plunge by Thomas Guthrie. Walton kicked an extra point and Guthrie ran for two.
In the final quarter, Longview's David Kiergan crashed over from the one.
Henderson nailed down the win in the final minutes when Mike Adams passed to Robert Porter from six yards out. Walton kicked the extra point.
